He Was First Native Born Physician To Serve Red River Colony. He Was Prominent In Community Life, Being A Member Of The Council Of Assiniboia In 1835, And Holding The Offices Of Coroner, Sheriff, Clerk Of Thecourt, Recorder, Magistrate And Governor Of The Jail.
